Seller Verification & Code of Conduct

1. Seller Verification Process

All sellers on TradeHub must complete verification to maintain platform trust and safety. Verification may be assisted by LED Champions for digitally excluded sellers.

Required Documentation

• Valid South African ID or passport
• Proof of address (not older than 3 months)
• Business registration documents (if applicable)
• Banking details for payouts

2. Code of Conduct

Sellers Must:

• Provide accurate product descriptions and images
• Honor advertised prices and delivery timeframes
• Respond to customer inquiries within 48 hours
• Package items securely and ship promptly
• Comply with all applicable South African laws and regulations
• Maintain professional and respectful communication

Prohibited Activities:

• Selling counterfeit, stolen, or illegal items
• Misleading descriptions or false advertising
• Price manipulation or unfair trading practices
• Requesting payment outside the platform
• Harassment or discriminatory behavior

3. Verification Badges

Verified sellers receive badges visible to buyers:

• Verified Seller: KYC documentation approved
• LED Champion Assisted: Listing created with LED Champion support

4. Enforcement

TradeHub reserves the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts that violate this code. Repeated violations, fraudulent activity, or severe misconduct may result in permanent removal and potential legal action.
